This little house on center street was in need of some serious attention. Used and abused for a long time, band-aides had been applied when tourniquets would have been better. But she has clean lines and a sturdy constitution. Thanks to the help of a very kind and generous neighbor she is evolving into a beautiful home for one very lucky little family. Disclaimer: You may want to read from the oldest post to the newest...it will make much more sense that way...you know... chronological and all.

About this time our daughter said that she might be willing to buy the little house if we remodeled it and got it livable. Sounds easy enough right? Just a little spackle here, a little paint there.... Not if you aren't even smart enough to know how little you know about how to remodel an old old house. But we have an amazing neighbor that we thought might be willing to lead and guide us through the maze...we were willing and able to work hard... we just weren't very smart at all. This amazing, kind, generous, awesome...did I say wonderful? neighbor said that he was ready for a new project. And this project has really become his project...we can't keep up with him...he works us all under the table. He has become our family hero! That's really what this blog is about, all of his hard work and the process he is going through to get the little house on center street ready for Andi and her family.
